About

I've been doing motion design for more than three years, developing video cases and showreels for large projects and studios, animating illustrations for websites of Russian and foreign companies.

I'm actively developing 3D design, studying modeling, shading, assembling compositions and light settings, and have already achieved good results in it. In the future I plan to create, manage and produce complex animated 3D projects, such as Blindsight by Danila Krivoruchko or online concert Billie Ellish by Sila Sveta.

Work experience

Improved skills in 3D modeling, working with light, materials, studied the intricacies of postproduction, studied MoGraph, Fields and Volume Builder.

Motion Designer

Embacy

September 2020 — July 2021

(11 months)

Responsibilities:

Development of videos and short animated videos for Behance cases, paired with graphic designers. Together we developed the script and storyboard, selected the music, and then I assembled the final video.

Developed animated logos, illustrations and icons for Russian and foreign companies. I worked either with an existing storyboard provided by the project team, or I brainstormed a scenario. I worked a lot with references and moodboards.

All the animations had to be created within the restrictions of the lottie-format, as the sites were being built on the webflow.

I supervised the work of external motion designers. I gathered all the necessary information for them, immersed them in the project, handed over the storyboards, checked the animation creation and absence of lottie-animation errors.

During the work:

I learned how to work with large volume tasks, as well as to work at a high pace.

Greatly improved my skills of working with expressions, and sorted out the subtleties of writing my own complex expressions.

Figured out the limitations of lottie-animations and learned how to optimize them to have minimal weight and display correctly on any platform (Google Chrome, Safari, Android, iOS).

I began to understand how to create terms of reference, set tasks for other designers, and monitor the fulfillment of these tasks.
